HS Chemistry

As analytical chemists, students will investigate how and why buffers mitigate dramatic changes in pH, and how they are important for maintaining balance in our ecosystems and biological systems. Students will perform titrations that show how buffers work and apply their discovery to the natural buffer system present in the ocean to understand the importance of natural buffers in the environment.
