Morning:
Exploring Adaptations (standards: 3‑LS4‑2,3‑LS4‑3, LS4.B, LS2.C)
Animals use amazing traits and adaptations to survive in a changing world! Through hands-on activities and observation, students explore how animals respond to shifts in climate, habitat, and human impact while building a deeper understanding of survival, ecosystems, and environmental responsibility.

Afternoon:
Genetic Detectives (standards: 3‑LS3‑1,3‑LS4‑2, 3‑LS4‑3, LS3.A, LS3.B, LS4.B)
Get ready to become a genetic detective in this interactive life science activity! Students will investigate how traits are passed from parents to offspring using a fun mystery. Through analysis and modeling, they’ll explore dominant and recessive traits, genetic variation, and heredity while building a foundational understanding of genetics and what makes each organism unique.
