As evolutionary biologists, students explore Darwin’s theory of natural selection by mimicking a real-life example of how human activity resulted in ecological change. Students will perform two experiments demonstrating how the environment can influence the success or demise of a species based on genetic variability. (MS-LS1-4, MS-LS1-5, MS-LS3-1, MS-LS4-1, MS-LS4-2, MS-LS4-4, MS-LS4-6)
