Why is the Statue of Liberty green? As chemists, students will explore how oxidation and reduction (redox) reactions and a series of chemical reactions have changed the look of Lady Liberty over time. Students will be introduced to chemical formulas, balanced equations, and fundamental laws of matter! (MS-PS1-2, MS-PS1-5)
